We were first recommended to BestMind by a US-based UX company we worked with. At the time, BestMind was experiencing significant drops in Google rankings with no clear reason why.

Initially, an in-house expert at BestMind assured us their ranking issue would resolve on its own. But despite their efforts, their rankings continued to drop. Eventually – after five months of back & forth – they decided to turn to us.

During the five-month negotiation period, BestMind contacted us regularly to discuss their declining rankings and the terms of our partnership. With each month, their rankings sank deeper with no solution in sight. 

We strongly urged them to team up with us so we could act as soon as possible. In our opinion, this was the only way to stop the company from experiencing further declines. 

Here’s what we found after a thorough analysis:

  • Low quality backlinks
  • No location pages, despite this being a very local business

This client needed quick action. Within the first month of working together in December, we implemented a number of changes to stop the ranking drops: 

  • Content cleanup: We reviewed the content and selected articles to be removed, revised, or merged. 
  • Optimised internal linking: We reorganised the website’s structure to improve Google’s indexing and page understanding. 
  • Google My Business management: We used our proprietary methods to improve location visibility and boost website clicks and calls.
  • Location page creation: We built dedicated pages for each location, taking into account the peculiarities of different regions, such as veterans’ centres in some US states. 

The last point was especially pivotal as we worked alongside the client to develop unique content targeting specific, niche audiences. This brought major results that helped stabilise their visibility issues.

BestMind experienced a remarkable 112% increase in key phrases ranking in the Top 10, translating into a surge in organic traffic and an end to previous ranking issues. 

  • Stopped falling rankings: The first improvements were seen within just a month of implementation. 
  • Custom CTAs in blog articles: We added custom CTAs for the most popular blog posts and tracked their effectiveness, noting an increase in lead conversion rates. 
  • Steady visibility growth: Since February, we’ve been recording a steady increase in visibility on Google.

Our partnership with BestMind focused on maximising the potential of their blog content. We did this through a customised approach to optimising calls to action (CTA). 

Through months of in-depth analysis via Google Analytics, we identified the articles that not only attracted the highest user engagement, but also led to meaningful actions, such as service requests. Based on these insights, we introduced personalised CTAs and dedicated banners that aligned with the article’s content. 

For example, we discovered that one of the states BestMind serves has a dedicated assistance centre for war veterans. So we created content targeting veterans and used CTAs tailored to their needs. This significantly increased the amount of leads we acquired. 

We monitored the entire process and tracked which CTAs yielded the best results. With these insights, we continuously optimised our strategies to improve conversions. As a result, we were able to effectively leverage each article, using it to boost engagement and generate valuable leads.
