What we had to work with
Luckily, we didn’t have to start from scratch. ZEN already had a solid foundation in content marketing even before we started working together. This included:
- A blog in three languages
- An ‘ask’ subdomain that acted as a help centre for users.
Still, we found many areas that needed to be optimised to maximise SEO efforts.
Our action plan for success
After a comprehensive SEO analysis, we developed an action plan to optimise the site and increase visibility. This involved:
- Internal linking: We improved internal link structure to optimise the flow of link juice and make it easier for users to navigate.
- Hreflangs: We implemented correct hreflang tags to optimise the website’s multilingual support.
- Fixing errors in Google Search Console (GSC): We fixed key errors to improve the site’s indexation in Google.
- Content analysis: We performed a detailed content analysis to identify keywords and content gaps.
- Creating new content: We created 25 articles for the blog, which led to a 797% increase in blog visitors.
Implementing lead reporting: We integrated tools to report leads from different subsites, allowing us to more accurately monitor campaign performance and optimise conversions.
