AI Visibility Audit: see who AI recommends instead of you
An AI visibility audit measures how often the major AI engines mention your brand when buyers ask about your category, compares you with competitors, and ends with a prioritized fix list.
We test the questions your customers actually ask, run them repeatedly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and show you the gap in numbers. No guesswork, no promises we can’t keep.

Why this matters
If you’re not in the sources, you’re not in the answer
Your buyers are asking AI assistants which provider to trust. Those answers are built from sources you may not control: comparison lists, reviews, forums, media and your own pages. If you are not in those sources, you are not in the answer.
Most businesses don’t know where they stand. A traditional SEO report tells you how you rank in Google. It doesn’t tell you whether ChatGPT recommends you or your competitor.
Engines we test
Four engines. Your buyers’ questions.
Market: one market included; each additional market is measured separately. Measured with dedicated AI visibility tools, plus manual review of the answers.
What you get
Eight deliverables. One clear plan.
Delivered as: a PDF report and a spreadsheet with the raw prompt results. You keep the data.
01
Prompt set
30 buyer questions for your market, agreed with you before we measure. Category questions (“best [service] in [city]”), comparison questions and problem questions.
02
Share of voice baseline
How often you and 3 competitors appear in AI answers, per engine, measured across repeated runs, not a single screenshot.
03
Source map
Which websites AI engines cite in your category (lists, media, reviews, forums, competitors’ pages) and where you are missing.
04
Brand accuracy check
What AI says about you, and whether it is correct: services, locations, prices, positioning.
05
Technical check
Whether AI crawlers can reach your key pages (robots.txt, CDN and bot rules, content rendered in HTML), plus page structure on your most important pages.
06
Content gaps
Questions your buyers ask where you have no page worth citing.
07
90-day priority plan
What to fix first, in order, with the effort each fix takes and who should do it (you or us).
08
Walkthrough call
45 minutes to go through the findings with Jarek and agree what happens next.

Who it’s for
- Businesses with a working website and existing organic traffic that want to know where they stand in AI answers before spending more.
- Marketing and eCommerce leads who need numbers to take to the owner or the board, not opinions.
- Teams that know AI search matters but have no one internally with the time to own it.
- Companies in competitive or trust-driven categories (finance, eCommerce, professional services) where buyers compare providers before they contact anyone.
Who it’s not for
- Brand-new websites with no content yet. Start with the basics first; there is nothing for AI to cite.
- Anyone looking for a guaranteed spot in ChatGPT. Nobody can honestly promise that.
- Local-only businesses that mainly need Google Business Profile work.
- Teams that want a report to file away. The audit is built to be acted on.

FAQ
Before you book
How is this different from an SEO audit?
An SEO audit looks at how your pages perform in Google’s classic results: rankings, technical health, links. An AI visibility audit looks at the answers themselves: whether AI engines mention you, which sources they rely on, and who they recommend instead. The foundation overlaps (AI engines still depend on crawlable, well-structured pages), but ranking well in Google does not guarantee you appear in AI answers. Many sources AI engines cite come from outside the traditional top 10 results, and platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity use their own mix of sources. So we check both the shared foundation and what an SEO audit doesn’t measure.
AI gives a different answer every time. How can you measure that?
You’re right, it does. The same question rarely produces the same list of brands twice, so a single screenshot proves nothing. We don’t report a “position in ChatGPT”. We run each prompt 7 times per engine (once a day for a week) and report how often you appear across those runs (your share of voice), compared with your competitors on the same prompts. That number is stable enough to track over time, and it’s the same method we use to report progress later.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?
No. AI engines don’t publish how they choose sources, and their answers change daily. Anyone guaranteeing a recommendation is selling certainty they don’t have. What we guarantee is the deliverables: a measured baseline, a clear picture of the gap, and a prioritized plan based on what the data shows.
Can we implement the fixes ourselves?
Yes. The plan is written so your team or your current agency can act on it. Each item says what to do, why, and how much effort it takes. If you’d rather we do the work, the audit fee is credited to your retainer.
How will we know if AI visibility is actually improving?
Because the audit gives you a baseline on a fixed prompt set. When we measure again on the same prompts, you see the change per engine and against the same competitors. We’ll also tell you where attribution is limited: linking AI visibility directly to revenue is still hard for everyone, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Where data exists (AI referral traffic in analytics, Google Search Console reports), we include it.
Do we need llms.txt or more schema markup?
Probably not as your first priority. Current evidence shows llms.txt files are rarely requested by AI crawlers, and adding schema alone hasn’t shown a measurable lift in AI citations. We check them, but we’ll only put them high on your plan if your situation calls for it. What consistently matters more: whether AI crawlers can access your pages, and whether trusted third-party sources mention you.
Should we block AI bots?
It depends on what you want. Some bots collect data for model training, others fetch pages for live AI search answers. Blocking the second group can remove you from AI search results. The technical check shows which bots can reach your site today, so you can decide deliberately rather than by accident.
How long until we see results after the audit?
The audit itself takes 10 business days. After that, it depends on the fixes. Technical access issues and page updates can be done quickly; earning mentions in third-party sources such as media, lists and reviews takes months. The priority plan separates quick fixes from long-term work so you know what to expect from each.
